Our usual billable rate is $65.00 per hour, plus reimbursement
of any out-of-pocket costs. If requested to, we will file documents, check out appellate records, and/or appear in court; but most of our clients prefer simply to receive the documents by e-mail, print them on their office printers, and file them using their own office procedures. We are open to referrals of cases on a contingent fee basis. Naturally, our willingness to do so depends upon the nature of the case. Our goal is to provide work product that is so reliable that our clients can simply review it and sign it with no changes. To a busy litigator, a briefwriter's thoroughness and persuasiveness are more valuable than a low hourly rate. |
